Celebrating her birthday early, Chloe Moretz hit the red carpet for Teen Vogue’s 10th Anniversary and her Sweet 16 Birthday Bash on Thursday (February 7) held at Aeropostale in New York City.

The 15-year-old actress who will be turning 16 on Sunday (February 10) was joined by a few friends including ‘Modern Family‘ actress Sarah Hyland and her ‘Carrie‘ co-star Julianne Moore.

For the celebration, Chloe wore a Chanel Resort 2013 dress and an Aeropostale biker jacket.

Chloe Moretz gets bloody for revenge in the new teaser trailer for the highly-anticipated ‘Carrie‘ remake!

The film which is based on the acclaimed novel by Stephen King and also stars Julianne Moore as Carrie’s mother Margaret tells the story of a sheltered high school girl who unleashes her newly developed telekinetic powers after she is pushed too far by her peers.

‘Carrie’ hit theaters on March 15, 2013.

Chloe Moretz as a Bloody ‘Carrie’ – First Look

A blood-soaked Chloe Moretz is pictured in this newly-released still image from her upcoming remake of Stephen King’s ‘Carrie.’

“We only have like four chances to get it right. Because that stuff stains your hair,” the 15-year-old actress told EW regarding the infamous prom scene.

The film also stars Julianne Moore as Carrie’s abusive and religious mother Margaret, “This woman has clearly had a psychotic break, perhaps several,” Moore said about her character.

She continued to say, “But what’s sad about it for me is that she’s clearly sick and here’s this poor child in the thrall of this person who is seriously ill. And on top of that, they have this mother-daughter relationship. So we want to make that relationship as meaningful as possible, even though it is horrible and destructive.”

‘Carrie’ is set to hit theaters in March of 2013.
