The “Mistletoe” singer took part in the annual event where he flipped the giant switch to light up thousands of Christmas lights that will be twinkling all season long.

The 34-year-old actor played a gay man who abandons his boyfriend with AIDS in the Tony Kushner written play ‘Angels in America.’ Quinto had this to say about his role, “As a gay man, it made me feel like there’s still so much work to be done, and there’s still so many things that need to be looked at and addressed.”
Zachary also ad this to say about gay teens coming out and being bullied for who they are, “And again, as a gay man I look at that and say there’s a hopelessness that surrounds it.” He continues, “But as a human being I look at it and say ‘Why? Where’s this disparity coming from, and why can’t we as a culture and society dig deeper to examine that?’ We’re terrified of facing ourselves.”
