Hi and thank you for visiting my blog! I’m Kamila Caban, the face and voice behind Vicky B. TV and Vicky B. Designs. I’m a self-described beauty/makeup junkie who has a passion for sparkles, glue guns and mimosas. On my blog, you will find beauty/fashion tips, product reviews (I love testing new products and sharing my thoughts), drugstore dupes (one of my favourite things is to find cheaper alternative products with the same functionality) and lots of fabulous DIY projects.

My passion for beauty/makeup didn’t really start till I was 14-years-old, and though I’m self-taught via trial and error (let’s just say there were A LOT of errors), it wasn’t until I was out of high school and got my first “big girl” job that I started really embracing cosmetics. Maybe it was because I could finally afford better cosmetics and makeup brushes but that’s where my makeup/beauty journey began.

Though my passion for makeup started late, my love for crafts started pretty early on. When I was younger I used to love watching Mr. Dressup and always thought he had the coolest job, the man did crafts on TV for a LIVING! I thought it was the coolest thing. In elementary school, I took up after-school arts and craft classes but it wasn’t till I got older and I started making my own Halloween costumes that I realized my true passion for DIY. I love creating and my philosophy has always been, why spend money on something that you can make yourself?

If I’m not blogging, you’ll find me running two other businesses with my partner Ryan. We implement strategy and community driven tech to systemize and grow medium-size businesses and enterprises through Net-Critical, along with our big data real estate startup, Re-invent Realty.

Vicky B. TV is a place where I hope to inspire you to think outside of the box, create pretty things and learn something new. I believe everyone is beautiful and crafty. As Pablo Picasso once said, “Every child is an artist. The problem is staying an artist when you grow up.”
