Hi, my name is Vicky and I love drugstore dupes. Nothing gives me more pleasure than finding a drugstore dupe for a high-end product. My theory is that, why would I spend $20 on a product, when I can spend $2 on something that works just as well.
I love my Beauty Blenders, they are truly a holy grail beauty product that is worth every penny but spending $20 every few months for a sponge cleaner is just ridiculous.
This theory led me to find a great Beauty Blender cleaner dupe, Johnson’s Head-to-Toe Baby Wash which I believe works just as well as the original Beauty Blender cleanser. You can clearly see how well the baby wash works in the photo above, pictured on the left is one of my dirty sponges and pictured on the right is a newly cleaned sponge.
You shouldn’t have to spend a fortune to clean your sponges, baby wash and baby shampoos (great for your makeup brushes) are gentle enough for cleaning your makeup tools without all the harsh chemicals.
Hope you all enjoyed this post! Let me know if you tried Johnson’s Head-to-Toe Baby Wash on your Beauty Blender sponges in comments below!
One of my favourite things about dressing up in the winter time is playing around with dark lip colours. Dark berry lips are the perfect addition to your wintery look.
From berry to plums, these darker hues and deeper pigments will give your lips that glamorous, moody winter pout.
Now, before you start applying that dark lip colour, don’t forget to use a lip scrub. Make sure those lips are moisturized. If you need a great lip scrub, check out my Lush Mint Julips lip scrub review here, it’s my favourite lip scrub of all time.
My nails never keep colour on them, probably because I am OCD about washing my hands consistently and though I love getting my nails done, I can’t fathom spending $35 every two weeks for a Shellac manicure.
Recently, one of my cousin’s recommended that I try Sally Hanson’s Miracle Gel nail polish (she couldn’t stop raving about it), so I decided to put it to the test. Plus, I love finding a great drugstore buy and dupe.
This Miracle Gel polish promises up to 14 days of colour and shine, no UV/LED light needed, and you can remove it with regular nail polish, say bye bye to damaging acetone gel removal.
I am so excited to review the newest Urban Decay palette. It’s the brand’s limited-edition Naked on the Run all-in-one travel kit. I am a huge UD fan, you can even check out my UD Naked2 Basics palette review that I did in September, here.
This new palette comes with six exclusive eyeshadows, bronzer, blush, eye liner, mascara and a full-size lipgloss.
All the eyeshadow colours work perfectly together to create a range of makeup looks.
