It’s a sad day as news broke that Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple has passed away. The remarkable, talented and innovative man who brought new visions to the world of technology died today (October 5) in Palo Alto, California after succumbing to pancreatic cancer.

The news was announced by Apple where they released a statement on their website, “Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.”

Jobs resigned from his position as Apple’s CEO back in August, “I have always said that if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first to let you know,” … “Unfortunately, that day has come.”

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Steve’s wife Laurene and his four children.
