The Cannes International Film Festival kicked off this week and the stars delivered some jaw-dropping couture glamour.
The Cannes attendees always bring out the big guns (and jewels) when it comes to the French festival and we expect nothing less.

Lupita Nyong’o – I love when Lupita hits the red carpet because I know she will bring some colour and that she did. Lupita wore a flowy green Gucci gown with floral appliqué. Her bright pout and hair was on point as well.
Other than the Academy Awards, the Met Gala is my favourite red carpet fashion event. This year, the 2015 Met Gala is celebrating the opening of the China: Through the Looking Glass exhibition.
Every year, the Met Gala has a theme and with the opening of the exhibition, the focus of the evening was (you guessed it), China! The one thing that I love about the Met Gala is that celebrities and influencers are more willing to take a red carpet risk.
With red, gold and florals being a huge trend during the evening, you can see who made my list of favourite looks below!
Award season kicked off in high gear last night with the 2015 Golden Globe Awards.
Some of the biggest names in TV and film hit the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. From Jennifer Aniston, Emma Stone, Reese Witherspoon to Amal Clooney, who made her red carpet debut alongside her husband, George.
There were many trends on the carpet last night, we saw lots of shimmer and sparkle, vivid red and yellow colours as well lots of skin. What kind of award show would it be without some skin baring?
I am counting down some of my favourite looks from the evening. See who made my favourite red carpet looks list!

Amal Clooney made her red carpet debut wearing a black one-shoulder Dior dress with a statement train. Amal complimented her dress with white gloves. Very rare do we see women wear gloves on the red carpet, I thought it was elegant and different.
Chrissy Teigen wowed me in this Zuhair Murad beaded gown. The color looked gorgeous on her and I loved the high pony tail.
Dakota Johnson sparkled in a strapless Chanel dress. I didn’t know what to expect from the actress, but she definitely didn’t disappoint.
Diane Kruger went for an Emilia Wickstead gown. I absolutely loved the color of this dress.
One of my favourite looks of the night, Emma Stone nailed it in a Lanvin jumpsuit. I love the sparkly bodice and the big bow in the back. I feel like only Emma could pull off such a look on the red carpet.
Greer Grammer looked angelic and perfect in a blush pink Lorena Sarbu gown with gold embellishments.
Jenna Dewan-Tatum came out to support her husband Channing and she couldn’t look more delightful doing it. Jenna wore a beautiful strapless Carolina Herrera gown. The pale yellow looked exquisite on her.
Jennifer Aniston wore a black Saint Laurent number. What I loved most about her look is that she wore her hair up.
Jessica Chastain looked like a sexy siren wearing an Atelier Versace gown. I love how the dress showed off her curves. Her hair and makeup was on point as well.
Julianne Moore was definitely my top look of the night. She wore a shimmering custom-made Givenchy gown. I love the sparkles and feathers. The whole look was effortless.
Kate Beckinsale looked gorgeous wearing an Elie Saab dress. The sparkly bodice added glamour to her look.
Kate Hudson…do I really have to explain why I loved this look, just look at that physique! Kate turned heads wearing a plunging Atelier Versace gown and Forevermark jewels.
Lupita Nyong’o definitely wins for best use of color. The purple Giambattista Valli dress looks divine on her.
Reese Witherspoon always looks chic and elegant on the red carpet. She nailed it in a CalvinKlein strapless dress.
Sienna Miller looked so lovely in this Miu Miu dress. When I first saw her, I actually didn’t recognize her. I love that the her look was different from all the other dresses on the red carpet. Her relaxed waves also looked perfect.
Salma Hayek looked so pretty in her strapless brocade Alexander McQueen gown.
Kelly Osbourne knows what looks good on her body-type and this Georges Chakra dress looked fantastic on her. I especially love the midnight blue color which complimented her hair perfectly. I also love her camera clutch.
