14 Favourite Looks at the 2015 Met Gala

Favourite red carpet looks from the 2015 Met Gala

Other than the Academy Awards, the Met Gala is my favourite red carpet fashion event. This year, the 2015 Met Gala is celebrating the opening of the China: Through the Looking Glass exhibition.

Every year, the Met Gala has a theme and with the opening of the exhibition, the focus of the evening was (you guessed it), China! The one thing that I love about the Met Gala is that celebrities and influencers are more willing to take a red carpet risk.

With red, gold and florals being a huge trend during the evening, you can see who made my list of favourite looks below!

Selena Gomez wearing Vera Wang at the 2015 Meta Gala

Selena Gomez: Selena looked absolutely angelic in this Vera Wang creation. The black tassels hanging off her shoulders and the white floral headpiece are my favourite.

Keri Russell wearing Altuzarra at the 2015 Met Gala

Keri Russell: Keri wowed me in this green feathered Altuzarra dress. The plunging neckline, feathered peplum and side slit really make this dress come alive. She looks absolutely beautiful.

Anne Hathaway wearing Ralph Lauren at the 2015 Met Gala

Anne Hathaway: I am beyond obsessed with Anne in this gold hooded Ralph Lauren number. The hood is the new cape.

Kate Hudson in Michael Kors at the 2015 Met Gala

Kate Hudson: Kate is really giving me life in this high-neck gold Michael Kors gown. My jaw dropped when I saw Kate wearing this.

Amal Clooney in John Galliano at the 2015 Met Gala

Amal Clooney: Amal went for an strapless John Galliano gown. The bodice really gives this dress an edgy look which I love.

Rihanna in Guo Pei at the 2015 Met Gala

Rihanna: We can always count on Rihanna making a statement on the red carpet. RiRi paid homage to the evening’s theme wearing a yellow Guo Pei ensemble. Even though people have been making fun of the look, I love it.

Kendall Jenner wearing Calvin Klein Collection at the 2015 Met Gala

Kendall Jenner: Kendall looked sizzling in this beaded Calvin Klein Collection high neck dress. You got to have a body like Kendall to pull off a dress like that.

Poppy Delevingne at the 2015 Met Gala

Poppy Delevingne: Poppy looked lavish in a Marchesa dress. I love the floral appliques, giving the dress dimension.

Beyonce in Givenchy at the 2015 Met Gala

Beyonce: Beyonce shut down the whole gala when she arrived at the end wearing this jaw-dropping custom-made Givenchy gown. My jaw literally dropped when I saw this gown, it was by far my favourite look of the night.

Sienna Miller at the 2015 Met Gala

Sienna Miller: Yes! I love when a woman can pull off a pant suit on the red carpet. Sienna wore a sequinned red Thakoon ensemble with black tassels.

Jennifer Lopez in Atelier Versace at the 2015 Met Gala

Jennifer Lopez: As usual, JLO brought her A-game to the red carpet wearing a fiery Atelier Versace dress with a stunning dragon on it.

Bee Shaffer at the 2015 Met Gala

Bee Shaffer: Anna Wintour’s spawn dazzled in a red oriental-inspired Alexander McQueen ensemble. I love the simplicity of this dress and the intricate detailing on the train. Absolutely exquisite.

Emily Blunt wearing Prada at the 2015 Met Gala

Emily Blunt: At first when I saw Emily wearing this dress I didn’t love it but when I took a second glance, I fell in love with this Prada creation. Emily looked perfectly coiffed and pulled off this look with elegance.

Helen Mirren at the 2015 Met Gala

Helen Mirren: Helen Mirren, we are not worthy of your greatness. This Dolce and Gabbana laser-cut dress looked phenomenal on her.
